[Free] TCheckr App - Giftcard Manager for TCN, Ultimates, Woolies and Coles giftcards

I have recently developed a new mobile app TCheckr to manage multiple giftcards for personal interest
It allows easily check and manage giftcard balance, and also open each giftcard website (to check supported merchants)
For Coles / Woolies giftcards, it also support showing barcode to be used instore

Currently supported giftcards includes:

  • All TCN giftcards
  • All Ultimate giftcards (Ultimate, ACTIV, Cashrewards category, Category choice, OnlyOne, 7-Eleven, Shopback Supermarket, Restaurant Choice and Cafe Choice)
  • Vanilla giftcards (Vanilla visa, Vanilla mastercard and Coles prepaid mastercard)
  • Coles giftcards (Coles, Kmart and Coles Group & Myer)
  • Woolies giftcards (Woolworths, BigW and WISH)

Features that the app provide:

  • Check balance and update the balance per giftcard
  • For Coles and Woolies giftcards, you can show barcode to use the giftcard in-store
  • Transfer giftcards between phones (via QR code)
  • Enable biometric / Face ID to show the giftcards PIN / CVV
  • Backup the giftcards to your file storage (or iCloud if you use iOS)

Security concern

  • Data are only being stored locally, there's no cloud data backup (except if user backup their giftcards in iOS, they can choose to store the backup file in iCloud)
  • Giftcard PIN or CVV are optional in the app, just enter the PIN manually while checking the balance

Known Issues

  • Ultimate giftcards (Blackhawk network) balance checking website might block user's IP address after checking multiple cards, you may try to connect to VPN, or switch from Wifi to 4G/5G network and see if the user block can be resolved
  • Vanila mastercard / Coles mastercard balance cheecking website seems to throw System Error to some phones

Update: Thanks for some comments here and totally understand about the security concern
I have made an update to the app to make PIN / CVV field as optional (to leave it blank)
If you have decided not to provide the PIN / CVV, simply enter manually in the Check balance website (which is hosted by the giftcard issue website)
the balance will still be updated back to the app

      its is created using Microsoft .net maui
      I am also surprise the runtime makes the binary so large
      Android version is 59MB while iOS so large

    its never collecting data until there's a breach and then all your data has been collected, stored, shared, disclosed and sold to people on black market etc

      no personally data is being collected…
      TCN card + pin cannot steal card balance as it requires physical card

      You can also first register the GC in TCN / Ultimate
      and report lost if you suspect card is being misused
      Both brands will restore card value and send you replacement card

    OK, thanks guys for some comments
    looks like security is a big concern
    Maybe i will change it to allow user not supplying pin of the GC

    when user need to check balance
    they can enter it manually input in the check balance page

    Just updated the app and making PIN / CVV as optional field
    If you have any security concern, simply leave them blank and enter in the check balance page (hosted by TCN / Ultimate)

    would be appreciated if anyone can provide try to use it and provide some feedbacks

    I have tried to check the balances of my ten digital eftpos cards but I can't find the card numbers on the TCN app. Any help?

      TCN card numbers are starting from 5021 25
      For any cards that have already added to TCN app, it is already tuned to digital cards so you can only check balance via the TCN app

    I brought them as a digital one from the ten website. The grocery tcn cards produces a number which I can check but the eftpos digital ones doesn't

      All digital TCN cards are visa debit cards (with 16digits card number), balance can only be checked via TCN app

      Physical TCN cards are eftpos card with19digits card number, which I created this app to check it via TCN website and update the balance back to the app

    Some store has Square as POS system and they won't accept TCN Restaurant GC (Eftpos) and Restaurant Card (Visa).

      Convert TCN Restaurant EFTPOS version to Digital, and I think you can just add Restaurant Choice (assuming that's what you're referring to) to GooglePay for vendors with Square POS.
