Update: Thanks for some comments here and totally understand about the security concern
I have made an update to the app to make PIN / CVV field as optional (to leave it blank)
If you have decided not to provide the PIN / CVV, simply enter manually in the Check balance website (which is hosted by the giftcard issue website)
the balance will still be updated back to the app

Me and my friend recently developed a new mobile app "TCheckr" to manage TCN and Ultimate giftcards
It allows easily check and manage giftcard balance, and also open each giftcard website (to check supported merchant)

Checking on TCN and Ultimate giftcard balances have always been a pain
At the moment, only some for the TCN giftcards can "go digital" which can be managed by the TCN app
and not all ultimate giftcards can be managed by https://myprepaidcentre.com.au/
This app supports TCN giftcards, and Ulitmate giftcards (including ACTIV, OnlyOne, Restaurant Choice, Shopback supermarket and 7-Eleven)

There's no ad in the app and its totally free
Data are only being stored locally, there's no cloud data backup

Would like to invite OZB community for feedbacks

    its is created using Microsoft .net maui
    I am also surprise the runtime makes the binary so large
    Android version is 59MB while iOS so large

  its never collecting data until there's a breach and then all your data has been collected, stored, shared, disclosed and sold to people on black market etc

    no personally data is being collected…
    TCN card + pin cannot steal card balance as it requires physical card

    You can also first register the GC in TCN / Ultimate
    and report lost if you suspect card is being misused
    Both brands will restore card value and send you replacement card

  OK, thanks guys for some comments
  looks like security is a big concern
  Maybe i will change it to allow user not supplying pin of the GC

  when user need to check balance
  they can enter it manually input in the check balance page
