Seems to have a number of issues that relegate it to a WiFi 6E router. See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TpLink/comments/16uj9ck/new_be9300_…
Have it for a couple of months now (5?). I didnt/don't have any of the resetting issues.
I have the same issue, the issue seem to have occurred after a couple of weeks, so I returned the unit.
According to a comment from the OP of that thread 3 months ago the issue was fixed.
Since a November firmware update I haven't had any issues. Just noticed on the web interface it's been up for 28 days non-stop. So I think it's all fixed. Just a note I'm not running any Wi-Fi 6 or 7 devices and not using the 6ghz band. I also don't use the smart connect feature because I prefer to pick between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bandwidth for my devices. I've got about 11 or 12 devices connected to it and a USB hardrive that I'm streaming my personal movie collection from. All's good. YMMV
Ive had mine a month now without a single issue.
it was good up to the point to saw the word TP-link will pass.
Should I cancel my order of the $322 NetGear Nighthawk RAX70 Router and go for this instead?
The TP-link has wifi7 which is nice for futureproofing but I heard it's less stable and has less wifi range.
Keep the Nighthawk mate, don't get this deal, TPlink are cheap for a reason, you will discover a bunch of issues later down the line, and you will be spending lots of time on Google trying to fix the TPlink issue.
Even though I'm a sysadmin I still won't get the TP-link coz I know the fam will keep calling me to fix it :P
Had it a few months from good guys commercial, no single issue including both speed and signal strength
desktop friendly design, small footprint and no protruding antennas. The cisco wifi7 WAPs at work cost more than this and no protruding antennas.
