Is there a difference between boys and girls variants?
yes there is, the boys one the more absorbent area is in front and the girls one is more down. Don't know if it makes a huge difference if a boy wears a girls one or vice versa.

Size 2 nappies comes in standard box of 96 for $30 at woolworths now.
Amazon was selling size 2 box of 192 for $60. This is the same price as woolworths because 192/2= 96 and $60/2 = $30 😅

You'll want size 1 for a newborn (up to 5kg), the sizes are all based off weight ranges.

Definitely stock up for newborns, you'll be doing nappy changes every few hours. I usually buy a whole box, for you I'd probably buy 2-3 boxes.
