Apple Gift Card in JB Hi-Fi or Officeworks

Hi All.
A silly question. I know we can use $500 Apple Gift Card and $1000 from Credit Card to purchase a $1500 iphone at Apple Store.

But can we use an Apple Gift Card to purchase an iPhone from JBHifi or Office Work (with price matches)?

p.s. I would be using a gift card for the first time so please be gentle.

No JB will not accept Apple gift cards as currency

    The only gift card that would work at all 3 would be a Visa giftcard, which just works like a temporary debit card

Worth seeing if Apple Store will price match JB on that phone. Then you could use the Apple Gift Card and the credit card. And you'd have the two week return window even if you been using it on the toilet.

Unless there is some mad discount, I'd be buying from the Apple store for peace of mind.
