The 'calculating' message for shopback's cash back that hasn't tracked is frustrating.
There is a ~120 day turnaround time for the company (Myer / Foot locker etc) to track cashback. This is incredibly frustrating, especially on big purchases like 600+ at myer.
Keep in mind, if shopback misses the tracking, then it's left up to Myer/store to confirm it. Which may never happen. So we're left in limbo waiting for cashback that may never track. This isn't even about the 'confirmed' status - it's simply finding out how much they will track.
It's unreasonable to have customers accept such long turnaround times as they go past the return window for even the hope of getting a cashback, rather than the confirmed cashback itself.
It almost leaves me no option but to return the item on the last day if it doesn't get calculated and tracked by then, as I don't want $100+ cashback to be risked.
Really disappointing stuff.. they virtual bot is hopeless "oops, a techincal error occurred, start again". Let alone the articles on their website. @Gotyourback also couldn't help with anything.
Highly recommend people beware of MYER and cashback in general if it doesn't track within the ~2 days it says it will.
