Hi guys, I need to arrange a courier to pick up an electric guitar ($2000) from QLD to NSW. Could you please recommend a good & dependable courier? (I definitely won't use aust post for this one)

Austpost lost (stole) my item years back. won't use it anymore for parcel.
Well whatever else you settle on for a 2k item I’d probably want to make sure there’s an option to add insurance.
I put in the dimensions to ship a guitar about 6 months ago and it was too big for Australia Post.
I’ve always imagined you playing live in the local pub on a Friday night - acoustic sessions with Muzeeb. I just can’t pick if you’re the Tommy Emmanuel Classical Gas typea operator or the Matchbox 20 Rob thomas 3AM kinda operator.

A business I used to work for used Transdirect, an agent (https://www.transdirect.com.au/).
Not sure if you need an ABN to use or not, but you can book through a plethora of options using them including TNT, Hunter Express and Allied Express with insurance. There's also Couriers Please and Aramex if you dare.
Personally I think TNT (FedEx) are quite good.
Why not call every pub on the road between your home and the buyer, and perform at each one with the guitar, do a week long tour.
What would he do on the way back but
Buy another guitar in NSW.

of all the couriers etc the one I've found best is Toll, I'm sure others have stories about them too but always found them reliable, Aramex are the worst followed by Courier Please. Aus Post just took 2 weeks to deliver something from Perth to east coast no surprise items just appear to sit around at distribution centres / sorting offices
Where in NSW ?
Use Virgin cargo. Drop off at the cargo hanger next to the airport. Pick up at the other end.
Why not auspost? You can insure it without an ongoing agreement. I send my high value orders with this method. Better than many other couriers who claim no responsibility, especially those who on forward.
I guess size restriction prob will be the main problem too
