  • Can the water dispenser be connected to a plumbed pipe too in these fridges also? Or it has to be filled up every time only? I do have a n easy water line, would be great if that's an optional thing.

As per produce descriptions it is "NON-PLUMBED WATER Dispenser"

    • Nah unfortunately this is a non plumbed version. Wont work with plumbing

The cashback is active now, so if you buy today it ok.

  • Any reviews or personal experiences on this?

    • I’ve had mine maybe 5-6 yrs. Can’t fault it really. Wish the water dispenser could be plumbed and had better child lock, but it’s been solid. Had to contact support for what ended up being no fault of the fridge. They were extremely helpful.

The ice dispenser thing is also terrible, but I buy ice and keep it in the chest freezer for when I want it, so not a major issue.

      • Thanks AaronR.

With cashback this is instantly very interesting. I had zero intention of buying a fridge today, but for that price I'm seriously considering it. Is this deal good enough for an impulse?

Buy now think later. It's the ozbargain way.

    • I did with a Haier the other week. Old fridge working perfectly fine but we have a can crusher and cans stored in front of it so was getting a bit tedious moving it every time we wanted to use the fridge, plus some of the plastic bits were disintegrating. This fridge was priced good, had the fridge on top, had elevated cashback, had the freezer on bottom, Lat Gem offered 50 months interest free and the measuring tape said it should fit so we bought it purely on impulse.

By some miracle it fits with enough room to slide a piece of paper between it and the wall. So going to have to move the entire pantry over (it's free standing, but anchored to the wall) but that's a job for another day.

      I say go for it!

Haier is better IMHO, having had appliances of both Hisense and Haier

  • This fridge is not eligible for the current Hisense extended warranty promotion other Hisense fridge models have

    Just say in’

Don't you get extended warranty just by living in Australia (ACL) anyway

    • I've had this fridge for the past 6 or 7 years, and it's been faultless other than the door sensor intermittently not working the past year. A flick of the sensor switch generally rectifies the problem. Bought for somewhere between $600-$700 from Bing Lee

  • I just bought an LG 420L from GG a couple days ago for 899. Wish Inhad waited a few more days

    • This one is a fair bit bigger.

      • yeah, but I don't think I can return a used fridge now. Can I?

    • I got an LG 420L from GG a couple of days ago as well. My one was 999 - maybe different energy ratings?

      • No, the same one. I got a 10% coupon as well.

  • Neither delivery or pickup available for me.

    • Even JB hifi has this for same price, just purchase for 989. Jb hifi deal provides for 984.
