Shame about the lack of a gloss screen IHMO, horses for courses though - and attractive at this price vs the competition!

So confusing they also named it the G8….

  • Is this the same screen panel used on the ASUS ROG PG32UCDM?

    • Yes. Anything with QD-OLED and 4K is the Samsung 240Hz panel.

If it's a dual-mode (4K/240Hz and 1080p 480Hz), that's the WOLED panel from LG. It's an RWBG panel and text is rendered a bit worse, and it doesn't cover AdobeRGB

      • The new WOLEDs use RGWB, and from reviews, I find the test rendering better.

        • Text rendering might be a bit subjective but gamut and brightness definitely better with QD OLED. The Dell AW3225QF also supports Dolby Vision.

Nice to see a flat option in this price bracket too.

It's often 599 USD in American stores. Really shit price in AU

    • i think youre mistaken, this price is actually great compared to us pricing

    • This monitor has just been released.

  • Doesn't deliver to WA (Perth Metro)? That's a load of shit.

Apparently Samsung will deliver an 80" TV to my house but won't deliver a monitor.

If you add another USB-C storage or any memories or SSD, it gets further 10% off and will be $1299 before any other promo.

  • Do they offer 3 year burn in warranty?
