Looks like an excellent price for a decently reviewed (w/ Hall Effect sticks for no drift!) mobile gaming controller, ie. clips onto your phone. Beats lugging a steam deck on holiday esp now iPhone supports emulators! Certainly a cheaper route than a backbone or something.

Good price, wouldn't pay much more than that due to the new controllers being released a few times a year and depreciation hitting. Then again, it is like $120 tops for Gamesir stuff.
Didn’t seem to be anything comparable at the price so I bought one. Used ones are more expensive than this, plus how much more can they improve it? It’s got the analog trigger, the sticks. Pretty solid.
That's what I mean, I bought my Gamesir X2 Pro for like 100 bucks new and then sold it for about 60 a few months back on Marketplace. As you say, it's got the hall effect sticks etc so pretty solid.

What are the buttons and d-pad like on these? Comparable to Switch pro/XBox controllers/8bitdo controllers? Or do they feel cheap?
Is there any reason other than the direct USB connection that you'd choose this or any other expensive controller over any old 15 buck Bluetooth dealie off Ali?
Genuinely curious, haven't had a phone controller since like my iPhone 4S and Nexus 5 days, but even then, the Bluetooth in the Moga I got from EB for like 20 bucks was perfectly fine and that's over a decade ago now, can't imagine they've got worse.
