  • Brazen Brass?

    Beige.

  • +12

    Looks like a prison uniform.

  • +3

Model's pronouns included in the ad lol

    • -8

Grow up mate, nobody cares. Either buy the horrible looking t-shirt or bore off.

      • +2

you really felt the need to tell him no one cares

        by caring?

        • +1

you're right, I do care. I'm sick of this boring culture war rubbish everywhere. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

          • +2

@kiriakoz: Take umbrage at the marketing dìckheads who insist on including pointless & token references like this, not people who laugh at its ridiculousness.

            • +1

@Ham Dragon: I take umbridge with both. It's not an either or situation to me.

              • +1

@kiriakoz: You take umbrage because other people find a contemporaneous social phenomenon humorous…ok…doesn't strike me as the soundest investment in shits to give, but you do you.

                • @Ham Dragon: I take umbridge because it's been around for years now and the discourse is so stagnent. I know what it's like, we have to wait for everyone to catch up and get over things, but it is getting tiresome now.

I appreciate you telling me why I take umbridge rather than stopping to ask though.

                  • -1

@kiriakoz: No no you miss the point…I could care less what random whiny dude on the internet thinks, I'm merely pointing out how inane and pointless (and mildly amusing) it is to get twisted up because someone else thinks something is funny / stupid. Do you lack the insight that other people have & are entitled to opinions also?

                    • @Ham Dragon: Firstly, it's "couldn't care less". "Could care less" doesn't make sense.

Of course other people are entitled to opinions and in my opinion, this is tiresome. Thanks for respecting my opinion by continually misrepresenting it and questioning it.

                      • @kiriakoz: And yet you continue to argue ad nauseam that your fellow Ozbargainers ought not find a quirk of political correctness amusing. Not as "tiresome" as you claim.

          • @kiriakoz: Ah yes, what you're trying to be is the tolerant "silent majority". That's how we got to this shitshow, because the majority tried to be "tolerant".
            (Communism uses this playbook btw).

            • @Spets: Somehow it was misinterpreted to be having a dig at the model rather than the ad copywriter :/
Old mate's welcome to his pronouns. I got no problem there.

              • @scottb721: I wouldn't worry too much, just your run of the mill soyboy keyboard warrior who finds it so tiresome & beyond caring about they need to argue repeatedly & at length as to why everyone else isn't permitted to hold a certain position on a particular topic.

            • @Spets: What is the "shitshow" the fact that we choose to hyperfocus on something written at the bottom of the page? All you need to do is chose not to purchase if it offends you so much, rather than all needing to tell everyone about it continually.

One of those will fix the problem, the other will make you feel like a victim.

              • -2

@kiriakoz: This hyperfixation on gender and sexuality by corporations is pretty much what the Weimar Republic was in 1930's Germany. That led to some "fun times" for the world.

                • @Spets: That's exactly what these ideologues want though, the iron-clad hierarchy and stratification of society (not to mention idol worship, censorship, summary justice etc) characterised by Nazi Germany & other fascist regimes, but this time based on the perceived level of injustice said group/person has suffered, usually at the hands of muh evil whitey. Shit like this above, the "hey you can't object to / mock / find that funny" nonsense is the top of a slippery slope.

                  • -1

@Ham Dragon: The Weimar Republic’s Berlin was heavily Communist at the time. Mind you the Nazi party was Socialist so it’s the same coin.

              • +1

@kiriakoz: Offended? I never said I was offended. Choosing not to buy the item had nothing to do with pronouns. Good on him for having pronouns — I have no problem with that and never said otherwise.

      • +2

Huh, I'm not criticising his pronouns.

      • +1

        Bore off ? ? ? What ?

        • +1

According to Urban Dictionary, Bore Off is a command given to someone boring or annoying

          Don't shoot the messenger.

    • +1

I think 'Big Mike' just wants to give modelling a go. Bonds marketing department probably asked him for his pronouns. And if I know Big Mike he probably said "my what ?" Followed by " do I have to wear this?, what about a cool singlet instead ?"

      • +1

Big Mike (he/him)'s arms aren't quite long enough for the sleeves though. Or the sleeves are 10 cm too long. Or they're going for the infuriatingly-bundled-up-at-the-wrists look.

  • +1

    thats his blue steel look!

    • Or the look just before you get pummeled.

  • Do we get the 10 bucks if we order it? Haha

  • Great to wear to a shit fight

  • -3

I'd rather go topless than wear this, atrocious!

    • -1

      Stay hungry, stay foolish
