I get that aluminium could be perceived as more "premium" but I would have thought plastic would more robust and grippier
Yeah basically if you don't care about wifi and prefer a premium metal body for a bit cheaper than rg35xx h from the same store (71 vs 89).
You can get RG35XX H for about $72 from Ali Express at the moment.
Screen size of the 351 is great for GBA games if you want perfect integer scaling
This is incorrect.
The 351P is what you're likely referring to which has a 3.5" display with a resolution of 480x320.
The 351MP has a 3.5" display running 640x480.
GBA display was 240x160.
My apologies, you're correct. I didn't realise the MP model changed resolutions.
The 351p and 351m both have 480x320 which is perfect for 2x integer scaled gba (240x160)
This version does not.
It's pretty easy to get them mixed up and I just wanted to make sure any purchases made were done so with right info at hand.
Having said that, both devices will play GBA great as you said but there are likely better products available for similar pricing that are a little more current.
Still a very capable guy, especially when you throw Portmaster into the mix and you're playing Vice City, Quake 3, Shovel Knight, and hundreds more games.
However it's so damn old I almost got nostalgic looking at it. Scene is crazy these days.
Why buy this over the RG35XX H?
