    Pro Tip: Absolutely NOBODY is hiking carrying this, proper hiking chairs are much lighter (seller conveniently doesn't list weight but states that the postage is high due to the weight!) and fold up fully.

        As a member of a couple of pretty serious hiking groups I can assure you many do - but they're specialised hiking chairs that weigh about 300-400g and cost an arm & a leg.

        Personally I just go with a fold out EVA foam pad but my missus has a fold out stool, weighs a few hundred grams and only cost ~$15 from Ali Express.

        A lot of the folks don't like to be on the ground with the leeches etc.

      Hi @Daniel Plainview, the product weight is 10kg - you definitely don't need to take it on a huge hike! This chair is an outdoor accessory, which some might want to use to rest for a shorter hike. Unless someone is super strong and wants to carry 10kg for a whole hike!

        While I appreciate the reply - nobody is taking this on ANY hike, long or short - 10kg for simply a chair is NOT feasible. To say otherwise, simply shows, you do not hike.

        Take it in your car, camper etc and walk over to put it down - sure. But carry on a hike? Laughable.
