Was looking for a "reasonable" XBOX game pass ultimate and stumbled upon this.

Steps:
1. Get 3 years of XBOX Game Pass Core for in total of AU$140.81 (can vary slightly depending on conversion rate)

The keys will be delivered immediately. Look into the keys and make sure where the keys are from (I got mine from India, but can be from Brazil / Argentina etc.)

  1. Connect to VPN (to the country of your Keys) and redeem the keys
  2. Disconnect from VPN and go to Microsoft store to purchase Ultimate pass (for me it was $1, might be different for you, not sure), and it'll be converted to 2 years ultimate.

For me it worked out to be $5.87/m

Xbox Game Pass Core and PC Game Pass conversion ratio: Any remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:2 and be rounded up to the next full day. For example, 90 days remaining of Xbox Game Pass Core or PC Game Pass will convert to 60 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time.

    If you do not want to bother with VPN, then CD Keys are selling AUS Core for $10 per year cheaper than elsewhere.

      There's a different ratio for converting game pass core to ultimate on pre-existing accounts (see here - https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/subscriptions-billing/ma…). Likely it won't anyway because of the different country thing though.

      pretty sure it has to be lapsed, I think if you add core to ultimate it will auto convert so you wont be able to swtich the vpn on/off trick.

        Xbos ultimate includes both console and PC, you can get XBOX Game pass just for PC as well.

    I'm going to give this a crack. The link takes you to buy 12 months of Core for ~ $45. Should I purchase 3 x 12 months, and then look to convert? My Ultimate subscription is expired atm.

      Since I didn't know of this site before, I purchased 1 x 12 month first to see if it's working (which did of-course). Then I went on to buy 2 x 12 months and converted all 3 x 12 months into ultimate at one go. Hope it helps

      Thank you @jackoo - I just completed this offer using Codekie and a Surfshark trial on my phone. All worked fine. My codes were from UAE. Total came to 117.90 AUD for 3 x Core codes. $1 to convert to 2 year Ultimate. Very happy :)

    I have game pass ultimate and it runs out Jan 8, 2025. Could I purchase the keys now and hold on to them until I need them. Let the subscription lapse and redeem them on Jan 9th 2025?

      For doing this to get full 2 years, all the subscriptions in your account must expired first otherwise the 12 month Game Pass Core will automatically convert to 4 month Game Pass Ultimate only.

          Unless MS changes the conversion ratio between that time, and in that case you will get less than what you paid for initially.

      Can't vouch for these guys but I have purchased two keys from Eneba (Minecraft) and intended to use them as gifts for Christmas, which was a few months away at that point. They were both already claimed when we went to use them. Other codes I've bought and used immediately have been fine. I think some sites keep codes on a database and resell them if they aren't used within a certain timeframe. YMMV but I wouldn't buy codes off reseller sites without the intent to use them straight away.

      I can also confirm this finally worked for me too. I had bought 3 codes pretty much as soon as the deal was posted yesterday but had to wait till this morning for the paypal payment to get authorized. I think this has to do with who my bank is rather then anything else. My Ultimate had expired in last November. Finally I redeemed all 3 codes on the pc using UrbanVPN and yes the codes are from India.

    Sorry for the silly question: Is there a way to convert the Game Pass Core (purchased through these gift cards) into PC Game Pass (not ultimate)? Will this yield a better conversion rate? The only information I am gathering is between Game Pass Core -> Game Pass Ultimate.

    If one does not have an Xbox Console, would the PC Game Pass be a less overall price for the time conversion? If that option is even available. Or does the Game Pass Core also work with a PC?

      Apparently not. Game Pass Core replaces Xbox Live Gold, which is console only. The only info I could find is that you'd cancel your Core subscription and then get PC Game Pass, though I'm not sure if that's allowed if you're using these gift cards, probably only if you originally paid with credit cards.

    Purchased 3x 12 month of Xbox Core, then upgraded to ultimate.

    Bought "Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 24 Months -Digital code" from codekie, you get 7 codes (6 gamepass core, 1 ultimate) and they tell you to use an Indian VPN to redeem. My GPU runs out in about a week so I'll redeem it then, but it seems like everything should be fine. Using PayPal it ended up being $132 instead of $125 advertised on the site, but I'll put that up to PayPal's bad rates.

      I decided to purchase because of your successful go. Here is my experience:

      • bought the same 24 months code (make sure to get the code, not the one that is a little cheaper that only uses account sharing) for $126.xx, paid the same amount by using PayPal and Revolut.
      • received an email asking for me to "confirm" immediately. I confirmed by sending the email and received the codes 4 hours later.
      • log into Microsoft and navigated to redeem code page: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem?ref=xboxcom&ref…
      • installed UrbanVPN browser extension and set as India
      • visited https://www.whatismyip.com to ensure I am on India
      • removed existing payment methods as they were preventing me from redeeming the codes
      • redeem codes 1-6 for 6 months GamePass Core each
      • redeem code 7 for 1 month GamePass Ultimate which converted 3 years GamePass Core to 2 years Ultimate
