So trying to get myself another free eBay Plus trial or offer as there's a few things I need to buy as an eBay Plus member, I came across this offer. Seems like it just started at 10am today.

Not for all, as we know it's been cheaper before, but at this moment I think is the cheapest. Surely targeted too!

Sucks to be me, even though my burner account was offered it, after clicking through it still showed $49 for a year.

Check if your burner accounts offer this, and hopefully you have better luck than me… YMMV

So, it looks like eBay have finally fixed up the offer, as the account that I saw it in is now coming up as $19 for the year. Also, an email for this offer hit my account this morning!

    I can see this offer in my eBay app but when I click through it says it’s going to be 49…

      I didn't get this offer via App or email, but when I go to https://www.ebay.com.au/vlp/ebayplus it come up in the banner. I subscribed but got charged for $49. Currently checking with customer service and see what will happen next.

      Update: They escalated the case and asked me to wait for an email update. Seems plenty people are in such situation.

    Screw Feebay Plus.
    Mrs went through the $9.99 link late last year (as mine hadn't yet expired), only to be charged $49.
    Went through the processes with them, only to be told "Too bad, So sad!" Wouldn't even give a voucher for it!

    Also, the $5 vouchers are getting harder and harder to use.
    What is it now, $35 spend from Plus store and $50 spend? And excluding several categories and stores.
    Nah, it's very quickly losing its shine!

    In any case, they just opened the door for me to take the path to once again do another burner email and 30-day trial 😅

    Anyone else having issues after signing up via this promo? Technically I am an eBay Plus member, but none of the promos or perks work. They are listedin My eBay, but give an error message when used in the cart that you need to be an eBay Plus member to use said code, and other such garbage. I’ve tried CS and have had no luck since first messaging via chat on 18/6. Received a couple of emails, one was just sending me a 22% off code and it read as if this was all I needed fixed 🤦 After I responded with “this is not the issue” I got a reply with nonsensical copy+paste comments. One email stated I was identified as one of their customers this affected, so was wondering if it was widespread around this period.

    I’m seriously at my wit’s end with this piece of shit company.

    Not sure if this has been mentioned already but every year my auto subscription comes up for renewal and they want to charge $49.99. I go to app and click cancel subscription, and they offer a $30 voucher to stay for another year. So if makes the total cost effectively $20. Have done it for at least the last 3 years.
