  Have you used this? My recollection from looking at this a few years ago was that you needed a US mobile number in order to take up the trial?

    Yep using it right now. Just signed up with my normal google account, didn’t even need an US version.

  I used this on a recent trip, it actually worked for a month then they tried to charge me (used a revolut card so it failed)

  There's also verizon 30 day free trial and that seemed to have better coverage for me

      you need an active wifi connection and to actually be in the usa not much else to it, asks for a credit card number i think i used a revolut virtual card for that

            @realaccount627465746: oh yeah no issues there - just wanting to avoid any unnecessary errors when I'm arriving in a new country.

            Also as an android user I imagine it will default to my phone's google account, so might need to work around that

  Anyone use this in USA, with roaming deactivated in your Aus service, and didn’t have any trouble with receiving 2FA/MFA messages? That’s the only thing annoying me about all these data only sims.
