  • Plus The Good Guys: 15% Boosted Cashback @ Cashrewards.

Cashback ts and cs often detail price beat makes cashback invalid. Can't see it explicitly with those words for cash rewards but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get paid
(ie don't factor it into your buying decision)

      Last T&C probably excludes this

Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching

I had an older one of these, IIRC I paid about $250 about 5 years ago.

Was by far the worst microwave i've ever had. It randomly wouldn't work unless you opened and slammed the door a few times. shitty controls and died in about 4 years, dropped it in the wheely bin and was glad to be rid of it.

Have replaced with this kmart one as it meets my 2 main microwave requirements.
Has a handle instead of a stupid button to open.
Can just keep hitting the start button to add 30 second increments to the timer.

https://www.kmart.com.au/product/34l-microwave-42668145/ (I believe it used to be a lot cheaper)

    • I have 4 of this microwave at my work and all of them have exact same issue.

    • How long have you had the Kmart microwave for?

      • About 3 months, seems good so far but can't speak for its durability.

The metals are obviously cheaper and thinner than the branded stuff, I bet it will rust a lot easier also as you would expect for half the price, I wouldn't be getting it if it needs to be used 30 times a day in an office or something but for home when you use it once or twice a week it's all we need.

It actually looks quite nice also.

    • died in about 4 years,

My Kmart Anko couldn't even manage that — purchased Nov 2021. Just 2.5 years.

dropped it in the wheely bin

Yeah that's very 80s thinking. Every address in Launy gets one tip pass a year. They have a special skip for those, which is where mine will be going.

      Now to find something decent!

  • Panasonic Intervers are crap. Cold spots in food. Exploding eggs. 5m radius wifi blackspot. Theres a reason its cheap.

  • I've got the 27L 1000W NN-SF574SQPQ and it's the best microwave I've ever had, food comes out perfect and it causes less interfereence with my airpods than my old LG NeoChef. Also like the NeoChef it didn't catch on fire… so that's a plus.

  • is this one good to buy compare to the LG Neo Chef? my microwave decided to stop working today :(
