  • Been waiting for this since launch but I reckon it'll go lower, hodl.

    • Agree, it should be $450. I'm not paying over $400 personally, like the old one (but maybe waiting a while). Not paying heaps for a special second hand.

  • If only there was a 42mm version

  • +3 Str when watch is equipped

  • I really like the look of this watch based on the promo pictures, and I’m a sucker for watches with blue faces. I decided the pull the tigger and bought it for $499… Waiting for it to be cheaper to save $50-$100 does really matter to me. The question is though is it really worth $400 let alone $500, or will I have buyers remorse… I saw the Citizen Tsuyosa NJ0151-88M in a couple of retail store windows today and I didn’t really like the look of it. I hardly ever wear watches, the last one I bought was in 2018 and it mostly sits there collecting dust, I only wear it when I’m getting dressed up for a special occasion.

Only you can really say how much or when you will wear it. You could easily wear it more often than just business/formal wear, it's got a bit of a retro sports vibe.

They are pretty popular and it's a good looking watch. The price doesn't matter too much if you're going to keep it, but also wouldn't be difficult to sell after a while (year or two) if you're not feeling it.

I received the Citizen Tsuyosa NK5010-51L watch this morning, I’m happy with my purchase, it definitely is a good looking watch. I just need to have some links removed so it fits my wrist.

        • Happy days :).

Not too hard to do yourself if you have a few basic tools, but most good watchmakers would probably do it for you for nothing.

        • How's the small seconds going? Tempted to get the same one (be about $415 with a voucher + CR cashback), the colour is very nice. Just looks a bit thick/chunky in the pictures (which may not be too noticeable when on) but is a great colour and nice sports-dress watch, hmnm..

          • @G-rig: I haven’t had any issues with the small seconds feature, has there been reports that say there is with this watch? After owning and wearing it for almost daily over the last few weeks, I am still feeling the same, I am happy with my purchase, I absolutely love the blue face and design, and I haven’t felt that it’s thick and chunky. I’m not big into watches, one negative that I wasn’t aware of before I bought it is that it’s and automatic watch, when I bought it I didn’t do any research and thought it was a battery powered watch lol, I’m not overly fond of having to rewind it to reset the time most days when I put it back on after a night of it being in the box.

@Cevolution: Hi, no - I'm not saying there is any issue, but referring to this watch model as the 'small seconds', vs the OG :).

I ended up pulling the trigger, $464.46 after voucher and CB. I think that's a good enough price, if it's not to my liking then it's a pretty popular model to pass on. Yeah that's the problem with autos but as least there is no day or date to set. The dial looks very nice.

              Cheers
