  Quick oats are the most processed and high GI of all oats, so with these flavoured ones, you're mostly just paying for brand and packaging. You might as well just eat Coco Pops! Get steel cut oats for the heathier option. I suggest adding berries, greek yogurt, cacao nibs and and a little honey.

    Quick oats are not a problem.

    All the products listed have about 20% added sugar, that's the problem.

    Yeah oats are cheap as shit, just get a bigger packet and measure out 1/2 cup. The purists will say get steel cut oats but quick oats are more convenient.

    Better off adding sugar instead of paying for it and less oats (cinnamon is good), and fruit of your choice. Berries, bananas, papitas etc.

    People like the sachets for mugs and makes the proportions easier I guess.
