Sorry, I meant buying black replacement pieces off bricklink for some of the technic axles which are currently available in blue or red in the model. Lots of pictures on reddit, imho it looks much better and closer to the movie version.
Personal taste but I found those coloured technic parts to be quite helpful in breaking the monotony of the model. But the pure grey/black aesthetic is sick too.
Fair enough. I thought the red wasn't too bad but the blue annoyed me.
Actually the blue are the trickier ones to get replaced if you've already built the model. Might wanna grab those black parts before starting the build.
