      I sincerely hope not - at least not encouraged.

      Why? Should the remaster trend escalate - we may find ourselves with lesser and lesser new and innovative/ compelling games to play.

      New games > remaster games

        Why not. Sell the old game to new people, sell the same game to the same people. There's target demographic five years from now that weren't even alive when Odyssey first game out. Gotta get everyone excited about old game, which means remastering it. Plus Nintendo would probably get someone else to remaster it so it wouldn't detract from their new game budget. It'd probably generate more profits to help fund new games.

  Currently 38% claimed.
  It's a remake of the original Squaresoft SNES game. I found it to be a fun and entertaining game, I would best describe it as "twee" as in dainty or cute.

  Don't expect it as a full blown JRPG, it was a product of its time done under Nintendo's watchful eye

  Very good game, well worth the price. The target audience of this game is definitely the younger crowd and Mario fans who don't play RPG games very much. Very minor changes in the playing mechanics between this one and the original; but most of the changes are definitely an improvement.
