Oh wow, lucky I didn't buy. Heard it's great on steamdeck. Thanks for heads up!

    • As a recent owner of a Steam Deck, this does seem like a perfect pick for portable gaming.

How have you guys gone with playing games from the Epic Store on the Deck?

        • +4

Install Non Steam Launcher from Desktop mode and select Epic. Else you can install Decky Loader first then install NSL from testing store but I never got that to work

I also ran into an issue where Epic did not show up under non-steam games, so I had to add a random shortcut (anything) to Non-steam games first

          • @bheart: I use Non Steam Launcher as well

          • @bheart: Why use Decky Loader over Non Steam Launcher?

            • +1

@P.Sherman: to run NSL to add/remove game stores, you need to switch to Desktop mode, whereas Decky Loader can be accessed using 3 dot button and navigated using built-in buttons on Steam Deck.

They actually made NSL to launch from Deck Loader

        • Non steam launcher for me. Works fine for all the games I have

        • +1

I have been using Heroic Games Launcher.

        • +1

Junk-Store is what you want for a nice, seamless, integrated experience.

          • @trankillity: do they just support GOG and Epic as per their github page or other stores are supported as well? I wonder how NSL, heroic and Junk-Store compared? Maybe should have combined effort into 1 launcher

            • +4

@bheart: Yes, just GOG + Epic currently. NSL is simply a script to install all the launchers, nothing more. Heroic is a Linux desktop app, so is more suited to a traditional desktop (but also works with SteamOS). Junk-Store is specifically made as a Decky Loader plugin for SteamOS so it's tightly integrated.

    • I just bought it yesterday at EB Games. Oh well…

Have this game and would recommend for TBS enjoyers and those wanting to try a different genre from the usual. Doubt it will change any big wigs mind about not having a sequel but maybe just maybe having an increase in player numbers might?

Looks like it's open season on all suckheads

  • Picked it up on the Epic Games Store a while back for about $30 and I hear it's a good game. One day I will play it.

  • Got the digital + edition in the Humble Choice January pack

  • I enjoyed this game… finished it…well worth a play…

  • Thanks, picked up Chivalry 2

  • Amazing game, absolutely try this out.

  • Wow this is a game I will definitely play!

  • Nice, I will try Marvel's X-com

    Available June 7, correct?

  • thanks, redeemed

  • Marvel Xcom BATCHEST!!!!

  • How does this compare to my addiction from last year - Slay the Spire?

    • +2

This is a bit repetitive after all the unlocks.
Annoying busy work like gifts, "dates" and exploration.
      Enjoyed the story.
Power activation animation gets annoying after the 50th time.

  • For some reason I went to hit 1995 (scroll and click) and it went back up to 2010 as I hit submit so I got locked out until I logged into my Epic acccount and reloaded it haha

    Cheers

  • Its good enough that I finished it. Thats rare!
