  • How is this better than a tennis ball?

    • +3

my dogs eat tennis balls but they can not eat these plus you can put peanut butter inside these

    • I can't comment on this product, but I buy another similar brand as it has more bounce, which my pup loves, plus they probably last 10x longer than a tennis ball…. decent quality that is, cheap ones would probably only last us a week or two.

    • In addition to the reasons already mentioned, tennis balls are abrasive on dog's teeth which can have an impact over time. These are far less abrasive.

    • just an FYI regular tennis balls (or any ball that has a furry texture) are bad for your dog's teeth, it wears them down over time. something we only recently learned from our vet ;.; - now it's kong balls forever i guess.

      • right so those $2 high bounce balls can be used instead.

        • so long as they aren't small enough to choke on or can be broken up into bits they could choke on - i'd probably also wonder about the materials used on a $2 bounce ball, but yeah.

  • How durable are these?

    • +1

Our little dog kills the squeaker ones of these in about 2 months - Kongs - 30 minutes tops - $2 shop ones - 30 seconds

I bought 25 of these in different varieties 18 months ago - best buy EVER (and even that is underselling them)
      Our dogs love them

      • Thanks that's very helpful. My neighbour has a bullmastiff-x-pitty that destroys balls in no time, maybe these will stick around for a week or two.

  • Showing $16 for me….

  • these are the bomb - make a huge difference in summer when doggy gets gassed more easily in the heat

very durable - only downside is when they get lost as you cant replace near-new for free like you can with tennis balls which always seem to appear on public land outside private tennis clubs ;)

    • Agree. Great for ball obsessed fetchers as they can run and run with these in their mouth and still breathe easily.
