    They stopped development due to lack of sales, cut the team, started development again with just the two original founders, and then stopped development. This is them making it free in the hopes that people can play and enjoy it, maybe drum up some more interest to keep working on it. Not holding my breath though, it's a good physics sandbox game nonetheless

  Thanks OP!! This actually is something I would play during my younger days (when I have lots of spare time). But would be good for my daughters to try when they are ready! Hope it is not buggy and would still be relevant / playable in the future.
