  • How do these compare to the Kleenex Aloe Vera tissues? When I am sick, those are the only I have found don't destroy my nose. Are these equivalent?

    These ones: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/32969/klee…

Kleenex are a step up on these.

    • +5

These are quite a lot worse in my experience. I always buy Kleenex aloe even though it is more expensive.

      • -1

Quilton is for the poor and Kleenex is for the rich.

        (kidding)

    • +1

I always prefer Kleenex to these but I heard the quality of the Kleenex (like many things now) has gone down hill. I haven’t had a chance to try the recent ones as I have hoarded quite a few dozens before covid.

Dang, purchased 8 times. Maybe I should start using my socks instead.

  • +3

These are pretty crap, I order last time expecting a soft tissue a bit like the Kleenex Aloe but these are rougher than the normal Aldi/Woolworths tissues. Even at this price they are almost twice the price of the Aldi normal tissues and in my view they are worse not better.

    • Aldi price? Thought they were nearly two dollars last time I checked.

    • I like these. I'm sure there are softer tissues, but these are very decent. The boxes they come in are the perfect size for footrest for my computer chair too.

  • So these work out to 1.22c per tissue and Coles for example are 0.89c per tissue. Is 3 ply worth the extra?

  • +2

Quilton tissues have gone down in quality the most recent purchase on Thick and Large. Were poor quality no longer feels thick or large at all

  • Yeah I got these even cheaper on a previous Amazon deal but have to say very disappointed.

Was really expecting something like the Kleenex Aloe but far from it.

These ARE a bit softer than that 3 pack you get at Woolies (Symphony) but not a huge step up, I cannot smell any Aloe (I can with the Kleenex).

So yeah better than cheapie generic but a not as good as Kleenex.
