Neptune Blanket / Mellow Mat / Muscle Mat / Tatami

Been looking for a simple kids play mat that's suited for softening up the floorboards and creating a play/rest space for the dog and future little person.

I've been inundated with offers from Muscle mat, Neptune, and loads more on the soft plush mat's on offer.

I've been averaging out they're all much the same OEM product and just different branded labels etc and designs on some.. race track muscle mat would be my choice but veto'ed by the boss.

They're all similar prices for the 2m x 3m "large" rug averaging around $225-275 depending on brands and designs etc.

Anyone bought these style rugs and can vouch for them?

    Have bought a Neptune - They're super soft and comfy. I've definitely fallen asleep on it in the past. Was perfect for son when he was learning to crawl and walk.

    We have a Mellow. It's… okay. If I hadn't seen something better I'd be much more impressed.

    So far the mellow mat works out slightly best price so looks like will give it a go

    Muscle mat was confusing on discount and competition seems like they hadn’t updated website or it’s just messy layouts

    Getting ads for so many but prices much higher than these two above so guess will sample the mellow mat and see how things go

    Thanks for the feedback but open to more as will likely need a second in future

        Went with Mellow mat 2x3m Large and it's big for our space but it's been pretty comfy and nice. took a day to unsmell and expand..
        dog muddied it 2-3 days into it and was an easy clean so thats' good too
