Home Cinema Projectors - Where Can I Demo in Brisbane?

Our new build property will have a dedicated home cinema room so we are looking at new Projectors.

Our home cinema will be 5m x 4m with 3m high ceilings. We are hoping for a screen size around 120 inchs and a dedicated screen will be used.

We dont know much about projectors so picking based on specs alone is a bit difficult and i think we need to check them out in person. Is there anywhere in Brisbane that provide demo's of the latest Projectors and can anyone recommend a unit based on first hand experience?

    If you're certain you want a projector, you could set the room up and rent one.

    A bit more info.

    The room will be a dedicated home cinema and will likely only be used in the evening but will be used frequently.

    Sound is already taken care of. It will be a Dolby Atmos solution.

    Budget is up to 10k for projector and screen.

      Why not big TV? I bet you can get a monster TV for 10k.

        I wholly agree, with LCD TV getting so big I think projectors may be on the way out, being not great with ambient room lighting. TCL is doing a pricey 115-inch but 100-inch is readily accessible (Hisense).

    I'd say you could still rely pretty well on reviews, especially rtings.com etc. After all, review sites like that professionally test the colour levels etc, something you can't do.

    Not to mention, auditioning also requires that they haven't messed with the settings to make one look better than another one. Auditioning also requires all the brands you're interested in to be available at the one store, otherwise you can't compare side-by-side
