  • OP, you should specify in the title Geelong and Melbourne only

  • Thanks I Updated it.

Link appears to go to a cart already loaded with some extras

    • -5

Yeah, it has $5.95 American BBQ Ribs and another add-on.

  • +3

$9.95 delivery is fine, but an extra $9.95 for ice feels a bit gratuitous.

    • -1

Hey, they are reusable Ice gell packs, not normal Ice.

      • Which are $2 on Amazon. Nice markup for you.

        • +4

there are usually 3 or 4 in a box? so we make $1.95

          • @Meys Meats: $2 retail. Anyway, the fact you don't articulate this well and have additional items added to the cart without user consent is shonky. You don't win customers - especially not on this website - by being shonky.

@Ham Dragon: thanks for the tips. this is our first deal on here so we will do better with next weeks.

@Meys Meats: I hope you can take a lot of this onboard as feedback. I don't condone dodgy business practices. But you seem to have a reasonable offer here after some refinement.

@Meys Meats: Hot tip - cover all your bases. Dont feel disheartened, every business that posts in here gets run over the coals. The OzB crew are a very observant lot, part of why I personally love it because they protect us from the dodgy stuff. Cross the Ts dot the Is and come back strong :)

Anyone know of anything similar in NSW? The cost of meat is insane these days even at the local butcher..

    • +1, I'd be ordering this in the ACT if I could.

    • +1

      +1 for SA :')

  • Add delivery and ice charge to title

    • -2

delivery is free over $160 to most areas in victoria.

  • +1

Seems to add 2 x extra items for $40

    • -8

keep them or remove them, they are of great value.

      • +10

That's dodgy practices. Include them in the deal, or list them as recommended extras in your deal.

      • +6

Even better if you stop being dodgy trying to catch unsuspecting buyers by adding these sneaky extras.

  • +7

    1x Gourmet Meatloaf

Now there are two words I didn't expect to see together

  • -3

6x BBQ Style Pork Spare Ribs - are they Halal?

    • -1

Are you reading what you're asking? Why don't you ask yourself if it makes any sense at all?

  • Can't subtract ice fee if doing local pick up.

    • -1

      you should be able too

      • +4

        Nope.

Might want to look at your porterhouse prices too:
        2x 200g porterhouse $19.95, 4x 200g porterhouse $44.95. Cheaper to buy two lots of the 2x 200g.

        • you can untick add ice under billing information on the left side on a PC.

  • +1

I can't seem to remove the Add Ice option, so delivery should be updated to $19.90. Even with local pickup selected, Ice can't be removed.

  • Deal Ordered - Delivery booked - Money Paid - Confirmation of Delivery from Australia Post - Picked 1/6 as delivery date - Australia Post tells me 31/5 to 3/6

Also no confirmation of order from Supplier

Decent Deal - Particularly with the add ins - $180 for this amount of meat is a decent deal - not great - but decent.

Still over 50 packs available of the 100 - so maybe it is not hitting a mark.

    • +2

Australia Post for a temperature sensitive meat delivery? Surely not

      • That is what the ice packs are for - lol!

        • Ice packs aren't going to help that…

    • Seriously Australia post?

      • we don't offer Australia post…we have a cold shipping company.

    • Edit - Australia Post email arrived just after ordering - Supplier has commented that they do not use Australia Post

  • Those who bought, please reply here with your thoughts once you've tried it. I might jump on the next deal… if there is a next deal lol.

      Hi Stumo

We just received our order - delivered an hour earlier than expected

Will update once we have tried some.

We got the extras - which were good:
      - 2x200g Scotch Fillet Steaks
      - 8-10x Lamb Loin chops
      - 500g Premium Beef Mince
      - 10x Thin Sausages
      - 2x Racks Baby Back Pork ribs (800g-1kg)

Mince was more finely minced than what we usually get - from eyeballing the meat - the discounted price is worth it - not sure I would be as happy with the full price - we paid $180 delivered - at full price that would be over $300 - local butchers would have similar packs.

      One similar - for $180.00
      4 Chicken Kiev’s
      1kg Premium Mince
      1kg Beef Sausages
      1kg Diced Beef
      1kg Rump Steak
      10 Crumbed Chicken Tenderloins
      1 Family Chicken
      10 Chicken Kebabs
      1kg Chicken Breast Fillets
      1.5kg Pork Roast
      1 Doz Eggs

      YMMV
