  For Uber Eats, Uber One isn't worth it anymore. With the inflated prices and other costs, the "free" delivery isn't free anymore. With rides it can save some money though.

          @pharcyde: I am grateful I got 6 months of free Uber One membership and I am grateful that I saw the post informing others. Posters put their time and efforts to share the info. I am grateful to get the info and I appreciate it. My previous comment was just about fun to have $1 deals and I enjoyed reading comments sharing experiences. I just hope to enjoy it more often.   $5 Uber One Credit is the max amount you can receive if the Latest Arrival estimate is missed.

  They give $5 credit for late deliveries? If $1 meal comes late, it's like getting paid to eat?

  REMEMBER TO CANCEL THIS.

  I took advantage of this exact deal a couple of months ago and forgot to cancel it on my Uber account. I had my Phone number changed and because of Uber's terrible login system I couldn't log back into my Uber account to cancel it due to them needing to send a code as an SMS to log in and it was my old phone number. They kept charging my credit card for several months and it would not stop. I cancelled my credit card because of it but for some stupid reason Uber was able to continue charging my newest credit card even without knowing it (Bank must of forgot to cancel my old credit card). Uber are pests. Would of contacted Uber Support but due to previous negative history with them a couple of years back I would of gotten nowhere.

  The only way I was able to stop them from charging my credit card was to report it as "Unauthorized charges" to my bank account… Never want to go through that hell again.

      Uber wasn't the reason for my phone number being changed but if you must know why it was changed was because of spam SMS's and calls that kept coming my way and I had enough. I was gonna contact Uber to get them to cancel my subscription because I couldn't log into my account anymore due to it using my old number but last time I contacted them for help with my account they kept sending me replies to my email that looked like it was typed out by an AI/Bot so I didn't bother. Decided to contact my bank instead and had their charges blocked/cancelled. Uber support is garbage.

      Also what you mean "new user policy"? I only have 1 account with Uber and that mastercard promo was only applied to that 1 account. I didn't change my number due to Uber.

      I forgot to cancel my Uber One freebie sub and when I saw a deduction go through tried to cancel via the app, only to be learn you cannot cancel within 48 hours of getting billed for the next month.

      I could not find ANY way to contact support (chat or phone) and rather than set a reminder I just cancelled my Uber account entirely.

        I think it was a banner for me, not an email.
        I don't remember exactly how… but I think it was like… why did it appear on my screen? are you playing with me? pissing me off? etc… well… i did feel pissed off. If I'm not eligible, it should not appear on my screen.
