Options to Make International Calls from Australia (Sip/VoIP or Other) ?

Hi
My phone plan doesn’t include international minutes plus I’m not sure if some of the numbers will be standard overseas numbers to Europe. Eg landline, mobile, vs something like the 1300 numbers we have here - I wasn’t sure if there were included in plans. I need to be able to make the calls from my phone and a long time ago I recall using a SiP service which acted like a normal number.

Is this still a thing or what are my options? I can’t FaceTime etc as I’m calling businesses.

      1 hour per month is free if you subscribe to Microsoft 365.

    Find an European VoIP provider. With that all you calls will be with number from UK. Load $10-$20 credit and test it.

    Depending on how long you need to do this, get a Boost sim. Several countries are included for free (some unlimited, some for 1200 minutes per month). See https://boost.com.au/pages/international

      Yep. With the cashback sim deals that pop up on here, it's the cheapest way to do it.
