Aww the online competition was better

    • soo much better. Managed to get a few.

The recent Aldi pure merino deals was a bargain . Disappeared real fast tho.

    • +1

The $34.99 one? NOT RECOMMEND at all. I bought the male one, keep slippery up, not comfortable touch feeling to my skin, need extra care for wash, most important, not warmer than nylon ones. Will return.

    • Been using an Aldi merino one since last winter. Nice and warm and fits well.

Please wear your Veem shirts and Dell backpacks so I recognise you.

Love the Veem long sleeve shirt 🫶

    • Haven't seen one of those deals for a while now :(

  • +9

Imagine seeing 3000+ OzBargainers turning up on the day, with many wearing the new Bose SE furiously hunting for new deals while in the queue!

  • im flying in from sydney for work that week, am i eligible or do i have to be a melbourne local?

    • +3

You just have to be there at the right time (and note that the voucher can only be redeemed at that specific store). They won't care where you're from lol

Sydney had one a few years ago- exact same thing but there were people lining up for hours to get his. I think my friends and I waited about 2 hours to finally get a photo and then go find a shop to redeem it nearby. Best of luck!

        • 2 hours, wow. i didn't think it was going to be that crazy. I'll check it out on the day, and if the line is long, i think i will just have to pass. free is great when i don't have to wait or work hard for it. lol

    Do you need the app?

  • See you there JV ;)

Just drove past and there’s already a massive queue. Good luck to those planning to get one.

  • +1

Anyone that got the giftbag, please share here whats in the giftbag.

  • +3

Just walked past, probably a few hundred waiting already.

  • +2

    That queue, yeah nah

$30 prize is tempting but then you realise this stuff is like $10 in Japan.

Your unemployed friend on a Thursday:

Line wrapping all the way around emporium now

  • +1

Just walked past, very very long line!

  • +1

Comments discouraged me to go to cbd. I hate ptv anyway

  • Ah, well i'll rather not now. I mean free is free, but for at least 30min waiting

  • +4

I’ve never seen a line like that for a freebie. Hundreds and hundreds of people. Definitely not worth it

  • +2

I thought i would turn up before 10am and beat the crowds, was i so wrong the line went down Elizabeth street and was still there after 12

  • +6

Friend came 8.30, nope line around the block and into lt bourke!
On the upside Mork is doing free hot choc all day.

A few hours of your life for a $20-30 top is wild - unless you're working on your phone anyway, and can line up at the same time.

  • +1

Came at 9.15 am, store opens at 10 am, got my piece at 11 am, was crazy long queue

  • +2

Line still down Lonsdale St at 430pm, didn't bother - my time is worth more than a $25 shirt!
