60 Days Visa for Australians Visiting Thailand from June 1st

Australian passports holders visiting Thailand usually have a maximum 30 Day visa, the government of Thailand have made some major changes to their visa program, one of which they have extended the visa for Australians to 60 days. They have also added a lot of countries to their Automatic visa list.

    Just to save people some confusion… technically, Australians and folk from 92 other countries can now enter Thailand and stay for up-to 60 days without a visa.

    We fall into the visa exempt category, rather than the visa on arrival arrangement that some other visitors need to go through.

    • AUD$400 - can be extended another 179 days - so almost a year in Thailand.
