Damn, I already thought coles and woolies veggie prices were a rip off at QLD.
Really?
QLD getting all the subsidies these days $1000 for power bills (then another $300 from the feds). 50c public transport and cheap veggies!
We got rid of death taxes in 1977 as well and only politely ask to be included in the national cricket team, if there’s room, if there’s no club cricketer available.
Death taxes is probably one of the fairer taxes. Japan has 50% death tax. And is one of the reasons why they don’t have too many extreme billionaires. When u do kick the bucket, it is probably the one few times you can afford to pay tax… since you won’t be spending anymore. Another time is when u win lotto, which also is strangely NOT taxed. When most of us need the peanuts we get from salaries and wages , that is when we do get taxed hard! Maybe time to rethink taxes? Food for thought.
A good loss leader.
Cocos is pretty good even for their full priced stuff. Good turnover too so its fairly fresh
Edit For fruit veggies, supermarket stuff less so
Can we get some of those QLD vegie prices in TAS please?
