Gordon Laing CameraLabs Review
I own an older model, the printer itself is effectively the same over time, the ink+paper does the actual job.
Fantastic quality, reasonably fast, hold colour well. Cartridge never dries out. I love mine.
I have this , I paid 184 less $50 cashback and got a nice canon commemorative tote bag. I think it’s a great fun printer
Prints are obviously more expensive than going to Officeworks. But you can’t put a price on convenience and quality is very good
Are the prints better than Officeworks/Kmart?
prints are very very good, only problem is there is no matte print.
they have a so called semi gloss mode, but nothing like matte
@mighty-atom: Satin.
Great deal on the printer and paper!
Sure, it's more expensive than officeworks, but if you print a handful a month from your recent trip or weekend, the hassle-free experience well worth not going to ow
is this same Ink and Paper pack for $29 on amazon? https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0779KY3FT/ref=ppx_yo_d…
No. The $29 is 54 sheets. The $36 is 108 sheets.
Thanks
Perfect timing. haha Thanks OP
Why not print at Kmart, the price for 4x6" photo is $0.1
I'm too rich to go to kmart and sit at a greasy desk to use a greasy touchscreen to print 5 photos to save $0.50
Yeah, nah, you do that if your life and time worth this little
Also see: penny wise, pound foolish
No one seems to want to factor in travel time & expenses
$179.10 with Jb hifi perks code tonight if you want to grab one instore.
Damn i pay $20 too much from Harvey norman
I've used the older cp1200 as a makeshift photo booth plenty of times. Print time on the older printer is about a min, but that's fine for what it is.
Pic quality much better than Instax
Signifcantly cheaper too.
Printer out of stock but paper still available.
Great price for the paper.
Does the ink and paper last at same time if that makes sense, or is it one of those things, you buy paper when needed, then ink when needed?
You could but you're supposed to swap both at the same time. They do not sell them individually.
Ahh okay, so whenever I run out of sheets, I buy the same rp-108?
Yep.
Printer appears to be back in stock. Seems to be 5 available at time of checking, so move quickly if you want one!
Important.
You can set it to join your home Wifi network. Not just joining your device to printer's Ad-hoc Wifi using Canon iOS app.
Then it is discoverable and set-up as a printer in MacOS / iPhone permanently. Now you can print from any app.
Amazing. I was waiting for this to drop. This is great timing. Best current price is approx $190 from Amazon.
This is just for convenience to print ad-hoc photos directly from the phone.
Would love to get review from any ozbargainers who own this.
