Can You Still Find a A95l in 2024?

as per the title do any stores still stock this? and at a decent price? looking for 55 or 65"
appliances online still have the 65" but its 5k+
sony ebay have the seconds version which from people on here people say to stay clear of, especially for an oled
jb hi fi say they dont have it, but can someone confirm this? as I noticed in store they have their own database that can check nationwide? but most of the time they dont even check they just say they dont have it, any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately their new line up of 2024 tvs kindof sucks the bravia 7 was supposed to be the one but the rtings review said its viewing angles are poor (5.3/10 worse then the x90l which got 5.9/10) for some reason they decided their x wide viewing filter is only for the super rich. The bravia 8 is using old oled tech, and so would only be around 10% brighter then the a80l which people said was too dim. For the bravia 9 which has the wide viewing angle at a min you need to get a 75" which costs like 7k so it basically will never be affordable! and tcl dont care about viewing angles for any of their tvs.

  • Why not go LG? The C4 isn't the best viewing angles but still 8.9/10. Won't have the brightness though. Might find a G3 around in your price range too.

    • Yeah I know lg are good, but i prefer google tv as you can get basically any app and use a vpn etc. I dont like plugging in a shield or apple tv etc

  • Plenty of places have the A95L, but you’re unlikely to get it at a decent price.

  • Ironically, I was in the same boat as you; I was considering A95L (back in March) or to wait for the new model to arrive. I was overseas at the time and by the time I was back, no one had any A95L stock left. And you know what's more depressing? I noticed TGG (or was it Bing Lee?) had a sale on 65" A95L (assuming it was EOL then) for a little over $3k whilst I was away!

When I visited JB in early April, the guy checked and said their last A95L stock left their warehouse that day and had no idea what the new range would look like. He did, however, suggest that I should keep an eye out for their mid-year sale to coincide with the Sony flagship release.

I think I read somewhere (Reddit, perhaps?) that Sony may release the A95L replacement next year, so who knows what will happen? In the meantime, I will just sit and wait as my A80J is still going great.

  • In the same boat. Guess we will have to wait till end of year.
