      Capped at $250.

    • Didn't include coupons, or if it did, the terms and conditions said otherwise

I'd strongly suggest chatting to a chat support agent before making a purchase on the Lenovo site. You may get a better deal than 13% off.

I was interesting in buying a keyboard a while back, but thought the price was excessive. I was quoted a much better price via the agent.

    YMMV

Good tip. Never thought of that

    • At least with laptops I've never found that. A lot of the time they quote you the same price as the sale, but with a free backpack or something else included.

    • Didnt know u can still bargain better deal via online chat, wonder if this also work for like Dell or HP too?

  • I own a Lenovo tablet and am very happy with it, but ever since I watched this vid, I've decided to stay well clear of the brand….

Welcome to the world of Chinese and anti-Chinese propaganda. You might want to have a closer look at the reputation of that channel.

tl;dr - some channels are run by anti-Chinese organisations and have an interest in bending or misrepresenting a situation.

      • For me personally, the video was convincing enough for me to exclude Lenovo from my next laptop purchase… I'm just not prepared to run the risk that it has become as shoddy as depicted. Plenty of choice out there, so why risk it?

        • ok, if no more Lenovo, what are other brands on your shopping list?

          • @kaikor: probably HP, Dell, Asus, etc.

          • @kaikor: Lenovo is a mixed bag. I have had a bunch of issues with the Yoga series, with one snapping in half (known hinge issue) and the other having weird QA issues.

I understand there is definitely anti-chinese propaganda floating around, but I would make sure you get extended warranties if you buy Lenovo.

With that said, Lenovo fixed the snapped laptop even though it was out of warranty.

If I had to buy a new laptop tomorrow, I would probably go Dell. There support is pretty damn good and their devices tick the boxes (light, good battery, good screen). They have gotten pretty expensive compared to Lenovo devices though.

            • @nuggetbro: Yes still love their Alienware series but since 2-3 years ago their prices went off to the moon and don't give a damn to run anymore ebay 20% off sale!

  • So what about combining with the 10% coupon going around for first purchase?

Also if it sits in your cart they'll email offering 10% off

  • Just made a $6.45k purchase on my desktop, it tracked ($840.45) within just under an hour. Estimated payout in 12 weeks.

    • build your own would be cheaper

Oh, i meant I made the purchase using my desktop (as opposed to mobile or the app).
