Back again. Saw this in-warehouse today and bought for $124.99. Online price includes delivery for $134.99 which is a good price for nice rice!

        It can, although I havent tried. I stopped eating brown rice a while back, the ever so slightly better fibre isnt worth the digestibility.

  This is a great cooker. I have had it for more than 6 months now with near daily use - it has made perfect rice every time. It does not seem too fussy about the exact amount of water - as long as the water is in the ballpark area and the setting is correct, perfect rice results.

  I have this from the last CostCo sale. It's very good. Small, easy to use. I cook jasmine white rice with it and it's pretty much perfect every time. My favourite feature is being able to keep it warm in the rice cooker (which I think a lot of other cookers do).

      Usual rice cooking time no doubt. ~10 minutes to heat the water, ~20 minutes to cook.

        Then add 20 min before serving. My Xiaomi takes 60min to make rice as this final rest is programmed-in.

  best thing our house has done for years was buying one of these, best rice cooker ever used.
  We cook a lot more dishes with rice now. And the keep warm function is perfect.
  We've just put some rice on now, and it will be ready and warm on the bench when the kids dribble in and want to get their dinner

  Just leaving a comment here - this rice cooker is the real deal. Makes amazing basmati rice.
  For normal rice cookers you would add 1:2 ration (1 cup rice : 2 cup water), with the Cuckoo, when making basmati rice, use the cup provided. For example - for 3 cups of rice, fill the water up to line mark 3 in the cooker bowl. This is the easiest way to get beautifully cooked rice. Don’t follow the 1:2 ratio with this cooker.

  If you want prefer ratio method. Try 1:1.25 or 1:50 and see if the rice comes out the way you like.

  In short, this cooker is awesome with great features. Well worth the price!
