One of the Uber One benefits is $5 credit if the Latest Arrival estimate on your order is missed. This has never applied automatically for me, rather I need to raise a support request. A bit shady if you ask me.
If you have Uber One does this credit apply automatically for you or do you also need to raise a support request?
I'm not on Uber One, but some of the windows for the 'latest delivery time' are just ridiculous. The largest one I remember was about 1.5 hours. The few times I've ordered, it has come before the "latest time", but if anyone's relying on it for $5, then good luck! That $5 isn't going to make up for the cold and soggy food.
I've seen 1.5 hour delivery windows as well. Sometimes I'll see a short one, like 30 mins, and this is like giving me $5 in advance (assuming they honor the benefit). But I agree with you, I'd prefer my food delivered quickly over a $5 benefit which you may or may not get anyway.
Even if I create a support request, they make you jump through so many hoops, they keep denying several times till you just give up.
I just don't even bother anymore.

To fix this, I’ve gone ahead and added $5 Uber Cash to your account. You should see this added as Uber Cash in the wallet section of your app.
This was emailed 3 days later by support. I see why people don't bother.
I have got that couple of times automatically
The bigger issue is with the ride share driver ETA. Often it keeps stretching, 5 min is not actually 5 min, and after waiting the driver bails out and new one is assigned making it even longer wait. Is that case covered under Uber One benefits too?

I only receive the $5 after raising a manual support case.
I'm definitely spending less on these apps with all the crazy pricing. I wonder who orders these "deals" like 2 traditional pizzas, GB and drink for $68, or a plain beef burger with chips and drink combo for $40. Even drunk me won't order at these prices.
