must have been a really really good day then, it's known for overpriced mediocre westernized Japanese food, not to mention Ichiban is just right above with queues out to kino
Food was sooooo good? You got to be kidding me! Ate once at the Canberra store last year with a group of friends, we all agreed the food tasted average but price was expensive. This 2 for 1 price should be their regular price, definitely not qualified as OzBargain deal. Like someone said before: "Wagamama - foodcourt quality food, at restaurant price." Totally agree.
I hold foodcourts in higher regard…
LOL, I am trying to be nice here. Trying is the word.
omg, the foods are not good and too expensive. Never ever go there again!
Been here before. One of the worst experiences of dining ever. One piece of meat. 2 pieces of vegetables. Soup was so bland it tasted like water mixed with a drop of soy sauce. Seriously if you think food here is good you need to get out more.
I've never eaten at Wagama, but in general Japanese soup isn't supposed to be thick or flavourful.
you need to try some gumshara or ippudo
Where's Ippudo in Sydney? I have tried once in Singapore, loved their pork buns!
You obviously have never been to Japan lol. It's meant to be salty and strong.
Worst food ever
Every time a deal of theirs gets posted here, there's no love for it. Give it up Wagamama, we don't have short memories.
In fairness to the OP… He's not a rep ;)
Wow so much hate for Wagamama. I've only been once or twice but had a decent time.
The only thing I remember being a bit annoying was all the various dishes coming out at different times. We had some of our group finished their meals and some just getting starters. Quality of the food seemed ok but it's never going to win any culinary awards for it's authenticity. All in all I found it enjoyable for what it is but maybe I just got luckier than others with service/ordered the right things.
How much meat did you get? In my ramen I only got 1-2 pieces of thinly sliced meat.
I've been here before and the food was sooooo good!! It was a little pricey so this deal is pretty good. Note that they also have free tea ;)
