The pozidriv set would be nice at this price.

    • We don't use pozidrive in Australia

      • Unless you need to build Ikea furniture

  • Anyone know the difference between these and the Wera 160 kit for $44.26 other than colour and an extra screwdriver?

    • Plus minus for PZ

    • +1

The 160 appears to be for confined use. Smaller handles and blades

Kraftform screwdrivers with reduced blade diameter as well as partially with slim handle design
Allows screwdriving even in confined situations

    • +1

The main difference is the 160 have an insulated shaft that finishes flush with the with of the blade so they can fit in tighter terminal holes without damaging the insulation.

  • A lot of the wera stuff appears to be up to 70% off rrp.

I looked at these and then just ended up buying the Craftright set from Bunnings. https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-6-piece-insulated-vde… for $9.98. They have excellent reviews and also looked well made to me. Probably good for the home electrician (not that we have any of those in Australia).

A sparky using Craftright drivers would be a massive red flag

Maybe not if they just lose their screwdrivers a lot and don't want to pay good money for something they could lose
        idk

      • I wouldnt use my aldi set on something thats important, im willing to use them as a emergency hammer or chisel.
