All Qantas Reward Flights and Velocity Rewards Flights in One Place | Gyoza Flights

Hey guys - working on a project that centralises all major classic reward flights departing & returning back to Australia from Qantas and Velocity. Super easy calendar view that outlines seat availability x class in a monthly view. Create an account to setup alerts across routes, dates and class of travel. Also direct real time GDS access to query how full a flight is (unsold seats) and the possibility of an upgrade.

We’ll be posting decent deal links for Business and First Class seats offers a few times a week. Would be delighted to get your feedback - thank you! https://gyozaflights.com/reward-flights-from-australia

How reliable is your information sourcing?

  • Hey there - we're pretty happy with the data quality however availability is dynamic and changes frequently. We do have direct GDS access that gives us the ground truth on seat availability where the carrier makes this available as well. Thanks for taking a look!

  • Hey GyozaFlights, I was a paid member a couple months back but opted to cancel my membership. I do have some feedback which I'd be willing to share for my experience.
I think there needs to be a selector, for QF or Velocity points when searching. No point showing both availability when you only have QFF points for example.

Website looks nice but could do with better filtering of the information. Had to click on numerous pages just to get to a specific from location. ie. filter on from/to, range of dates

  • +1

That is good feedback and totally makes sense - we'll definitely be releasing this soon, to allow filtering x programme. Thanks again!

  • How does this work with user's level. For example, Platinum members have more visibility and access to Classic Reward seats than Bronze level members.

  • +1

That's a great question - we only see what is publicly available and/or via the GDS, so it would be whatever a non-logged in user would see.

    Too hard.

    No filters.

  • Thanks JV - appreciate the feedback. You can search to/from a destination + date using the search form up to 60 days rather than navigating the large table

    • doing that seems only shows eco reward seats

  • Ok another option too use my points, thanks 😊

Some suggestions as this is something I would use as an expat overseas.

    • Make airport selection more dynamic - London for example has 3 big airports, Standsted, Heathrow and Gatwick. Most are not fussed which one they fly from and will go to a further one to get a business class flight.

    • Allow for searching for multi city (think google flights style). If for example, I have to fly into Sydney or Brisbane on a visit home one way and pay for a flight to/from Melbourne where most of my family and friends are I am not bothered and would consider that for the “big” legs.

    • A free trial for the premium option. I would happily pay but I’d like to see what I am getting.

    • Fabulous feedback thank you! Noted on the metro airports in a big city - this is coming for London, Paris, NYC & Tokyo (maybe even Milan as well!) You should be able to search all routes up to 60 days out at no cost - but alerts and direct GDS lookups are excluded from this. Multi city is a great idea as well - esp. connecting via SIN, HKG, TOK etc back into London & Europe

  • My anti-virus has blocked your website for some reason it says: "This web page may contain dangerous content that can provide remote access to an infected device, leak sensitive data from the device or harm the targeted device."

Why has ESET anti-virus blocked your website?

  • A lots of route not available.

    Recently search:

PER to SGN via SIN (Velocity) or PER to SGN via HKG (Qantas)
BNE to BKK via SIN (Velocity) or BNE to BKK via HKG (Qantas)
ADL to HAN via KUL (Qantas) or ADL to SGN via SIN (Velocity)

    • good feedback - not all routes are covered yet, but let me see if we can add some of these in. Thanks again for taking a look!

    • Hey there;
      PER - SGN
      ADL - SGN
      BNE - BKK
via Velocity have all been added 🙏

      • @GyozaFlights You don't have ADL to basically anywhere?

Even ADL to MEL doesn't work….jeebus!

ADL to all capitals would be a good start, then across the ditch ZQN, CHC, AKL etc.

Then the usual DPS, SIN (which is there), BKK, KUL, HNL etc

Would also be good to see a Multi city tool. For example, if I search on other sites ADL - > AKL, i'll get nothing.
But if I do a multi city search (via the QF site direct - ADL — > MEL—> AKL - Sometimes requiring an over night in Melbourne) you will get a flight. QF then compiles the fare (ie. you dont need to pay for the ADL -> Mel leg, as it's within x miles radius).

  • I recently paid for a year upfront but in hindsight, I should have started as monthly to test the alert feature before committing. Alerts clear after you’ve been notified via email once. So if you miss out on seats, you need to go and manually re-add the alert…. every..single..time. Pretty frustrating and a deal breaker for me as I have a large amount of alerts set up. I might as well just search the Qantas website for all routes each day.

Are there plans to change this?

    • Hey there - thank you so much for taking out a subscription; it is much appreciated! This is great feedback - the original reason for once only notification was to save you getting spammed repeatedly for the same route/combo multiple times a day. But let me review this and come back to you - might be something we can do here.

  • Is there a way to limit the search results to only virgin velocity?

    • Yes - coming soon! Thank you for taking a look 🙏

  • Not working?

  • not working!

  • Hey guys - all seems OK at the moment https://gyozaflights.com/

  • Can you please add PER to HNL (Qantas) and SYD to HNL (Qantas) and MEl to HNL (Qantas)please!

  • anyway to add custom cities for a fee?

    • hey there - sure thing, let me know what route you're looking at

  • Nice work OP! Any chance for a 3-7 day free trial to try the full product before committing? Also for Qantas, is there a way to filter for classic rewards vs classic plus rewards?

    • Hey! You should be able to search a full 60 days out without having to subscribe. The sub will get you alerts + real time GDS access

  • Nice one , could you please consider adding filter for Business or First class in the section "All Business and First Class" - at the moment it shows both and would be helpful if we just want to check business . Also noticed the sorting doesnt always work would be nice to have it fixed.

  • I want to like this site; that one time it worked for me I could see the benefits of it. I'm getting the odd 404 or home redirect now, and I just can't do a single search :( Do I need to be creating a login to get it to work?

    • +1

just use seats.aero if you really want a site like this - it's better in every way (but still not 100% accurate/reliable)

  • The seat availabilities are not up to date or just plain wrong on multiple routes and for multiple days. It also lists incorrect information such as displaying the points amount for Business but when cross checking on the airline website this is in fact the required Economy points.

Overall the lack of basic filtering (such as filter one airline only) is far too annoying for me to guage its usefulness to think of subscribing. Hard no for me.
