    Look at past deals, sometimes deals come back or might even be cheaper

    • Thanks good tip for benchmarking prices, everything is expired unfortunately :(

    @Gunther
    I'm looking for the same, but for Desktop PC. Prices are just going up up up, so want to get in now. Hopefully, EOFY deals in the coming 5 weeks will bring us something good.
    if you find any, please let me know. :)

  • waiting for <200.. maybe this time next year.

    • Yeah big same here. It's gonna be quite some time given the mess that Nand pricing has become.

      • I'd be happy with a 2TB samsung 990 pro at moment for 200

    I might run a 4tb promo soon, around mid-late June, watch out for our NM790 4tb deals

    • Ooo thanks mate. I'll hodl for you.

      I'm putting together a new pc right now. So am waiting for a good deal. 4tb m2 NVMe pc is what I'm after.

      • I will try run the 4tb under 300 bucks, production cost still going up, but I feel market needs something exciting.
        If I can get funds to do this, I will run large volume.
        otherwise will do like 100 - 500 pieces just for EOFY, that normally will last 2-3 days before stock is dry.

        • Will deffo get one at that price.
          The cheapest atm is the shitty crappy bottom of the barrel ones at $330, so yes, will jump on Lexar anyday.

          OzB has good market demand, plus randos browsing will jump on as well.
          Low profit margins should push more sales as Lexar is a well renowned brand. You will also be destroying the competition. 😋
          Whatever gives you the most revenue, I suppose.

          • @lordra: OzB is more for me to test the market and getting info, in terms of selling stuff, it doesn't really do that much. But it is extremely good place to communicate with end user directly.

            BTW the promo should be ready soon

            • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Very interesting to know.

              Thank you, I'm ready to pull that trigger!

        • I'd be interested in 12x for a NAS.

          Currently Crucial runs good promos in the US, can get P3 Plus 4TB for around A$250 (plus i.e. A$10 shipping via Amazon).

          • +1

            @Thinkscape: P3 plus is not same category as NM790. it's a budget 5G R/W gen 4 dramless.

            However depending on your NAS requirement
            if it doesn't utilizes full Gen4 speed, that could be a better choice if it's cheaper.

          • @Thinkscape: Wow, no way. The cheapest I could find was $280 via ebay. But was holding off as I'm waiting for Lexar Chris.

              @lordra: lol don't put pressure on me.

              • +1

                @Lexar ANZ Chris: Mate, I have been rounding up people.

                There are about four waiting in the side lines for you to show off your awesomeness!

                I'm making a fan following for you. 👌😅

                • +3

                  @lordra: I have submitted the promo, it should happen somewhere around later this week or early next week.

                  Entire Australia I made avaialble 900 units heatsink model, selling to retailer at the same price as the lowest point (June 2023), very limited EOFY sale.

                  The heatsink is designed to be removable and won't waive warranty.

                  You can start to check JW computers, Mwave, Budget PC website.
                  if you are NZ, check with PB next week.

                  I don't know what's the final retail, some people may willing to make less some may want to make more.

                  But I'd say it will be close to the lowest price last year. But retail price is not determined by me.

                  • @Lexar ANZ Chris: On behalf of everyone on this thread, thank you very much @Lexar ANZ Chris !

                    • @lordra: Mwave posted a $299 Lexar NM790 4TB w/ Heatsink. I think this might be the deal, but I'm unsure. Google says it's a 30-day low. I just got myself one.

                        @indojo24: Morning mate.
                        yes, that's the one. :)
                        You can either go for it, or wait and see what the other two do.

                        • +1

                          @lordra: Morning to you, too. I did order from MWave, just waiting for payment to be processed.

                          Thanks for the heads up on the other post. really appreciate it. I was looking for a portable HDD but no promo so far. Thought I'd just get an internal SSD and put it into an enclosure. Looks like this one will do the trick.

                  • @Lexar ANZ Chris: The cheapest I can find thus far is $319 for the Lexar NM790 4TB without the heatsink from BPC Technology. Presumably, this is unrelated to your promotion? I was hoping to purchase two (one for the PC, one for the PS5), but if I can save a few dollars with the heatsinks, that'd be a nice bonus!

                    • +1

                      @Ben1985: BPC Technology has now increased the price from $319 to $349 for the Lexar NM790 4TB without the heatsink, and decreased the price to $329 for the Lexar NM790 4TB with the heatsink. Once again, unsure if this is related to the promotion detailed above?

  • What about 2TB, anyone see anything of decent value at the moment?

  • ooh, im ready to grab one

  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/852867

    Just bought this.. Pretty good value at $75/TB for 4TB
