I had been hoping for flights to come down from their ridiculous high prices since Covid but it's getting close to September now and it seems they've gone even higher. Need to book for 2 adults and 2 kids under 12. Saw the cheap 60h one-way trips with China Airlines but prefer a single stop-over to Frankfurt or Dusseldorf.
Thinking perhaps it's cheaper to book one-way flights with a 1-2 days proper stop-over somewhere or perhaps fly into Amsterdam or cities close to Dusseldorf and last mile with rental car or so.
What are your bargainer thoughts or insights whether to keep waiting a little longer hoping for prices to come down or just bite the bullet and book now for like $2300 return per person?
My advice would be to use google flights or skyscanner to check prices. I included some good guides. And then book directly with the airline.
