Got this one a couple of years ago in their Boxing Day sales. Just backpacked my way through South Korea for 3 weeks with it and it's great.

    • Was this hiking/trekking as in multi-day hikes?

Or just backpackers style staying in hostels etc?

I've seen decent prices to Seoul but can't find much good detail on long hikes, just all the tourist stuff.

Just hoofing from hostel to hostel. Did plenty of hikes, but just bought a $10 backpack while over there and used it as a daypack for the hikes. You can do some multi day hikes in Seoraksan, and they have heated mountainside shelters you can book in advance. But the peaks were closed when I was there (they are shut for 2 sections of the year due to fire hazard, so check in advance)

Jebus. For when the kitchen sink isn't enough and you decide to take the fridge

    • I agree; 75 is too much for multi-day hiking. Perhaps it's fine for those going from hostel to hostel, but having a 75 on your back for 6+ hours is not going to be fun. Go 60 or 55 and ditch the gear that you will never use. You will be amazed at how little you need.
