Hey all,
Did anyone notice that vitacost referee credits now need a $30 min spend by new customer to get $10 credit
Under the new rules, new customers still get $10 credit with no minimum spend

Also kinda sucks that shipping increased.
But on the bright side, you can just keep referring yourself :)
Not that big a deal - just need to make the subtotal greater than 30 :)
It's changed again . Minimum $30 order total to use the $10 voucher :(
You guys reckon it was from us ?
Not sure, the part that confuses me is this:
Orders placed with referral rewards must subtotal no less than $30.00 USD. Referral rewards may be applied to product value only; rewards cannot be applied to taxes or shipping.
Does that mean the subtotal including shipping or not including shipping after the coupons are added.
For example if you have subtotal:$30 of products with $20:shipping = total:$50.
If you apply a $20 coupon will this still work because the total (including shipping) will be $30?
The total before shipping should be over $30.
Then apply your coupon code and add shipping
I think they changed this recently, because I contacted the staff and they told me this:
The order must be $30 after the discount voucher is applied. ~Catherine(:
And then she recently sent me this today:
The order needs to be $30 to be able to use the Refer A Friend code. This does not include shipping costs. ~Catherine(:
Which would imply that to qualify for the use of a discount code the sub-total must be more than $30.
Catherine confirmed that the sub-total need only be more than $30 to be able to apply a coupon code. So the total order can be less than $30 after the discount voucher is applied.
not great value now, so effectively the $10 only gets you $3 towards goods and free shipping.
But if you do refer yourself you'll get an extra $10 on your other account which you can wait until you've got $30 to use it.
Ha. No wonder we are getting a lot less Vitacost deals with referral codes. According to Program Rules:
