  • Thanks was waiting for this sale perfect somehow i am not sure winter is coming in Adelaide just been warm 👍🏽

  • I used these in Scotland. They're pretty good for the price.

  • Good for cycling to work in the early hrs?

    • +38

      Bicycle will work better.

I think it'll depend on how strenuous the ride is. The polyester generally doesn't do great with sweat plus it doesn't breathe as well as other material IMO.

You'd typically have to either be in a really cold climate or not pedalling hard to need to keep warm.

  • +2

The pants are not warm enough, compare to Aldi pants

  • What's the sizing on these like? The size guide doesn't mention unisex clothing.

    • +1

looks like the size runs small from the reviews, get one or two sizes bigger than normal

  • +2

Cheap but it is polyester, definitely worth paying extra for wool.

    • +1

Depends on the needs. Kids for example are likely to grow out of these quickly and don't have smelly sweat yet, so it's a good option for them. No point buying expensive alternatives for them.

      • Note the word "Adult" in the title……..

        • +3

There were plenty of kids ones at the same price in the display at my local

          • +1

@axcairns: This. The title could be updated to include both adults and kids.

Which Merino wool thermal brand would you recommend?

      • Aldi! Snow sale starts Saturday

  • Shame no other colours

    • +4

      Shame no other colours

Exactly what kind of sartorial statement are you expecting to make with thermal underwear?

  • +3

this is thicker and warmer then uniqlo, i own both. the the snowy i use 37 degrees, for casual not freezing or snow temps i use uniqlo.

  • Damn WELCOME10 doesn't seem to be working anymore, used to work even after being an old customer

Lol thermals, lucky I live in Queensland then, the very Idea of thermals to me in a hot country is very strange.

    • +1

Do you really think all of Australia is hot every single day of the year and there's no scenario where they're necessary?

      That's wild…

      • -1

I do know thermals are for for sub zero temps right? And yes in Queensland its considered "cold" 2 weeks a year

        • +3

No, thermals are not only for sub zero temps. They're for whenever you feel cold enough to need them. For me, I'd say that is any time around 13 degrees or less at night.

"Idea of thermals to me in a hot country"
Queensland is not the whole country. This is your issue. Your experience doesn't invalidate orher people's experiences and vice versa.

You think that Queensland is a country?

This is almost like that Florida Man stereotype.

      • it should be we are big enough and tend to do things different to other states.

        • Yet ur australian so go figure
