    • How long before the delivery date did the order status change to Dispatched?

  • I got a missed voicemail from Samsung AU today about my order and saying if I need assistance call back their 1300 number. Why would that have been? I’m expecting delivery on Friday - still says awaiting dispatch

    • I got that call too. delayed delivery due to no stock. no ETA. Last time I ordered from samsung shop I was expecting delivery in november, ended up getting it in march. swore I'd never order again based off the terrible customer service (check all reviews), but can't pass up a good bargin. at least I know what to expect now.

      • geez that's no good. I called up this morning to ask why I got called and she said it's still looking on track for Friday but who knows. the order status still says awaiting dispatch

        • I got the same call yesterday. I called this morning and was told the delivery is for June 7th.

          • @1000101: I just got another call. They said it's delayed due to high demand and they can't provide an ETA. Pretty embarrassing from their side but hopefully it still arrives soon.

            Mine was also meant to be for the 7th

  • Is anyone able to tell me if you are able to cancel the trade up? I've decided I don't really want to give them my old one anymore. Or if I just don't hand it over can they just charge me the discount that was applied?

      Go to the rubbish tip, they normally have heaps of TVs in the electronics disposal section. Not sure if they mind if you take one, but might be worth a try. Good luck to samsung trying to get anything out of you if it doesn't meet their requirements after you've already got your tv.

      • Thanks, I will just give them our old Panasonic. Its within the size range I picked and it does turn on and function

        • @OzBerghainer- How did you go contacting Samsung to change the Trade-in? Ive tried changing the 'Model' but they wont allow me lol

          • @ozbargainhunter97: I haven’t bothered as I originally selected ‘Other’. Delivery and trade up is booked in tomorrow so I’m not forecasting any issues with handing them the Panasonic as it falls within the size range I originally picked.

            I doubt the delivery person is going to care or even notice the brand or size is different

    • Yep, a few of us. I got a call the other day saying it’s likely delayed with no ETA

      • damn that sucks. was hoping to get mine today for the long weekend and watch F1!!

  • How do they not have any ETA? Surely they have indicators when they have more stock on the way to their warehouse. really appalling service. the chat just said "I apologize, but the estimated date when they will have stock doesn't show here. I highly suggest canceling the order instead."

  • Being a discontinued model. I wouldn't be suprise if these are cancelled.

  • I also had one with the 7th June date. I didn't get a call but have had no notification of delivery. I'm not sure how they would be able to cancel as they are still selling these (with a delivery date of the 18th). So hopefully we all hear soon.

    • It goes between OOS and in stock heaps. The 18th preorder estimate wasn’t there earlier today.

      Fingers crossed we get stock allocated to our orders soon

    Received today

    • did you receive a phone call prior to delivery? if so was the phone call on the same day as delivery or before hand? IThanks

      • Check for an SMS or email from ANC. Or find the tracking number in the Samsung order. Thats the courier that’s delivering mine tomorrow

        • Yep I done all that and booked a date via ANC. However I am about to go over seas while away and someone is home to receive the delivery however I'm concerned Samsung need to call me but I cannot answer while away.

            @yellowfever: My ANC driver called me when he was about 15 minutes away. I suppose if you didn't answer they will still arrive, they just want to make sure your ready to collect i guess. Either way on the day it sends you a specific ETA and a tracking map

    Delivery confirmed for the 18th via ANC. Baffles me that a few days ago Samsung Chat were strongly advising me to cancel the order.

        Nah no questions asked - the two delivery blokes just had a laugh at how old and heavy the Panasonic was

  • Anyone had issues with dead/hot pixels on arrival?

    Mines got a nice bright red pixel smack mid screen….. not happy!!!

    • no issues here. You got a pic of the dead pixel? hope Samsung sorting it out for you

      • They have been pretty usless really given it was only unboxed days ago. Spent the better part of thurs on the phone and chat. Ive come to learn its a 'hot pixel' - stuck bright red picel mid screen.

        Waiting on service tech to get parts to assess and pribably replace the screen. Samsung refusing to exchange for new.

        • ok. replace screen? that's odd, may aswell replace entire TV

            • @OzBerghainer: Yeah tried very hard - they kept quoting some 'lead period' to be notified of faults (7days) , but nothing in their warranty or sales docs even after repeatedly asking to show me where and quoting their own stuff back to them re 30 day exchange.

              Went through 4 staff, three depts, sent pics three times, live video share through their app … went no where.

              Have to see what tech says.

  • Anyone how to cast Google Photos from a Google Pixel 7 phone to the S90C?

    I've tried to open photo, share, Smart Things, selected TV and it says 'unsupported'

    I tried screencast from my phone but the TV does not show up
