      Technically speaking Japanese version is ~$15 more expensive than ours.

      Not sure what EB did to get the exclusivity here for the deluxe edition. I don't think that's the case anywhere else (at least not in the US, and seems there are plenty of countries are still yet opened for pre-ordering).

      Looks like mini games. More concerned the servers will be deactivated when a Switch 2 comes out.

    I guess the naming of ‘NES edition’ implies there may be other editions in the pipeline?

    Will be good to see SNES and N64 editions, hopefully.

    Actually reckon the western version of the deluxe set is better - we get a replica NES cart!

    The NES controllers can be obtained easily via My Nintendo store. (Not so comfy these days to play with IMO)

    How do I get the Famicom edition? It says reservation only, so I'm guessing I'll have to buy it from scalpers/resellers on ebay?

      Most likely have to use a parcel forwarding service or from resellers.

      Amazon JP's pre-order is quite tight. I've got mine for ~$130 tax+shipped.

      There were two batches of pre-orders on Amazon JP - a cheaper deluxe set (see below) and a Amazon.co.jp version batch (【Amazon.co.jp限定】アイテム未定 同梱 - meaning exclusive - item bundled TBD). I got the latter one since I was a few hours too late to the game. Now only 3rd-party seller left on there with price doubled, and no int'l shipping.
