  • How do we access the site?

Do Apple have any stores on any campuses?

    • Just use the link and on the top you should see;
AOC AU Australian Education Union Store Home | Exit

You are in and can order delivery items

      • Maybe it’s a mobile issue but site won’t load for me (on an iPhone ironically!)

  • correct to assume SB provides 4.2% cashback when purchasing iPad through AOC (online/web)?

    • Wouod suggest not. APC url isn’t tracked normally

      • thanks for the quick respond mate.

  • I usually buy ipad/mac etc from studentvip store (where I purchase subject notes)
These education partner stores are usually a little bit cheaper than the official EDU store, however, not anymore in 2024.

it maybe helpful in deciding whether you need the latest M4 chip iPad.

  • For what it’s worth, it’s not even compatible with other pencils except the pro. Because of new charging design wink

    • apple you have done it again

  • Guys, tossing up between iPad Pro and Samsung S9 Ultra… which one is better buy?

Are you in the Apple ecosystem?

Do you have any other Apple device?

      If so, get the iPad.

I am listing my S9 Ultra for sale and getting the new iPad Pro.

    • If I tell you to buy ipad, you'd say I'm a Apple fan boy, but iOS beats Android out of the water. It's just a much smoother user experience overall. One advantage of android tablets is that it lets you use external storage. But a lots of apps doesn't support external storage for security reasons. Other reason is, ext storage speed will be slower than internal, therefore affect the app performance.

S9 Ultra. Better price and bigger screen. I got it for less than 1200

Has anyone had any luck with price matching this at office works?

  • I don't think everyone realizes how insane a 13" iPad Air is. At this price, it could overtake MacBook Air 13" as the most popular device on campus. 12.9" iPad Pros have been very desired for years but its price was out of reach for many students, considering most want to also spend on an Apple Pencil and keyboard attachment. This is revolutionary and going to be my device recommendation for freshmen that don't need any MacOS or Windows programs for their course.

Next Apple should release a 15" Pro to compete with Samsung's 14.6" Galaxy Tab Ultra. Microsoft really needs to up their Surface Pro game. And Google STILL don't have a decent high end tablet which is so upsetting as someone that prefers Pixel phones.

    • there is no competition to the iPad when it comes to android tablets the biggest edge over android tablets is apps. and when I swap over to a galaxy tab I always find so many things I can't do that I could easy do on an iPad. You dont' realise how many built in features an iPad has out of the box until you dont' have those features. I thing Samsung should focus on better software and apps more so than building better hardware.

  • Will Apple stores do education pricing in-store without EDU ID or email, or is that loophole just online?

I bought a 512gb 13” iPad Pro that I want to return for a 256gb model. I see you can do in-store pickups, I’ll check tomorrow what the shortest turn around is. I bought the iPad with gift cards, so I need to return before buying. If I originally bought on Visa/mastercard card I’d just double up my purchase.

If they won’t do edu pricing without ID, I’ll just wait for shipping.

    • I remember years ago back in 2009 they would required a uni acceptance letter before you could get it delivered, or in store you needed a student card. apparently they dont' care now.

  • do you still have to send proof you are part of a uni? or they dont' care now?

    • They don't care.

      • If you want to pick.up at store do they ask for ID then ?

        • Don't know, sorry. I never opted for in-store pick-up.

  • If you use this deal & order online for pickup at the store will they ask for ID ? Or do you need to get it delivered for the loophole?
