    Depending on where you are. Here in NT you get cash. NSW you get credit. You can put the credit towards a pre order far away and then move it to something else in the future.

      IIRC you can then also use said credit later for gift cards i.e. xbox/playstation/steam stores and cash out that way rather than get stuck having to use it with EB Games, though been a few years since I last did that.

  If you're only trading in a console and want to boost its value, chuck in some cheap games to up the percentage. Got $72.50 instead of $50 for the original PS4 500GB model (as a Level 4 member).

  It was also a good way to get rid of the FIFA 15's and Agents of Mayhems laying dormant in storage. Thank goodness they were only $1 each.
