      It's good! We just came back from Japan and used Lemon Mobile there for 15 days. I bought their "15 days unlimited Premium" eSIM just a night before our departure (18% off discount on OZB). The eSIM QR code was quickly in the inbox upon purchase and next day on arrival, pretty easy to get started with very clear instructions. It was Softbank coverage there in Japan and we did go to some remote places (Lake Towada in East, Kawaguchiko, Arakurayama Summit trek near Mt. Fuji, trekking up peaks of Arashiyama). All worked very well for us!

    Hi, you will need to activate the plan by scanning the QR code upon your arrival, with local network coverage.

    Have sent multiple email, and also contacted via online form at least twice
    Currently in Japan with no data, but you're still able to comment on OzBargain 50min ago while I have to connect to whatever free wifi I can
